You should expect to have the unit ‘Repaso’ completed by Monday before class. You were given this review two Fridays ago… it has the dialogue on the other side of it. In class Monday, we will go over the review and I will be available to answer any questions that you have on the material in the chapter. For the most part, the primary challenge in the chapter is the new vocabulary. Like we have been working on the past two weeks, the central concepts in this chapter are:
- Tener + que + infinitive (when you ‘have to’ do something)
- su/sus (to show possession)
- nuestro/a and nuestros/as (to show possession)
In addition to the material in chapter 8, be sure that you’ve learned how to use direct object pronouns like ‘it’ and ‘them’. You have to do them on the test…
How would you translate that last sentence “You have to do them on the test.” hmmm…
